Alec Mackie of JWC Environmental was on hand at WEFTEC to demonstrate products such as the Auger Monster vertical screening system, shown in this video, which grinds up influent trash — including rags — and screens it directly out of the pump station. We also learn about the Bar Screen Monster reciprocating rake screen, featuring a completely enclosed screen and an immersible brake motor for lower headroom.
