Given the complexity of many process control applications it is beneficial to have organics data samples from both before and after the process. This allows more precise conclusions to be drawn about the efficiency and effectiveness of a process. Having real time organics data from both before and after the process allows a determination of the effectiveness of the process independent of the absolute organics levels in the water, while at the same time allowing absolute organics levels to be taken into consideration.
Clearly, real time organics sampling both before and after a given process allows a plant to have improved control or optimization of the process. Unfortunately, this would generally require the use of two organics monitoring instruments doubling initial investment and maintenance requirements, unless you are using the Real Tech's continuous analyzers.
Real Tech's real time UV254 and Spectrum analyzers provides a dual feed optional feature, which enables one monitor to be able to have two sample water feeds connected to it. This allows any of Real Tech's continuous montitors to be able to provide valuable information about the percent removal of organics across a particular treatment method.
