Industry Professional Assumes Chairman Position For WWEMA

First Woman Chair In 103-Year History

Loves Park, IL - The Board of Directors of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturer's Association (WWEMA) has elected Deborah LaVelle to assume the position of Chairman for its 2011-2012 term. LaVelle is the first woman to serve as Chairman in the organization's 103 year history. Her role as Chairman includes serving on the Strategic Planning and Executive committees and providing leadership to the organization. Deborah brings over three decades of experience in the water and wastewater industry to the organization where her knowledge and expertise will continue to complement the association's mission and meeting its future goals.

Ms. LaVelle is currently employed by Aqua-Aerobic Systems Inc. (Loves Park, IL) as the Vice President of Marketing & Application Engineering. LaVelle has been with the company since 1986, serving in various management positions.
