9 Million Gallons And Counting: HiPOx Handles Difficult Industrial Wastewater

APTwater, Inc. (APTwater) supplied a HiPOx® AOP system for an extremely challenging industrial wastewater treatment at a polyester manufacturing facility in South Korea. The system removes up to 65 mg/l of 1,4-dioxane from biologically treated effluent prior to discharge. The system has provided nearly100% uptime in over 5 years of continuous operation with minimal maintenance or operator oversight. Based on the success of the project, the system is being expanded to treat higher flows and influent concentrations.
