New Hach Catalog Helps Industrial, Drinking Water And Wastewater Industries With Tips And Products Designed To Save Costs
May 13, 2009
Hach released its 2009 Drinking Water/Wastewater Catalog and 2009 Industrial Catalog containing several pages of cost-savings tips, over 100 new products, and over 200 pages of essential items for water analysis. The catalog provides tips to minimize costs of analysis and highlights products that help reduce costly chemicals, energy, recycling or maintenance.
One product to help "penny pinchers" is Hach's on-line LDO Probe (Luminescent Dissolved Oxygen), which saves up to 85% in maintenance costs because its unique design does not require costly membranes for Dissolved Oxygen (DO) measurements.
Since time is money, the new TNTplus chemistries featured in the catalogs save both with convenient, easy-to-use vials. TNTplus Chemistries and DR Spectrophotometers use bar-coded vials that help eliminate human error. Simply insert the vial — the system does the rest.
Other time-saving new offerings include the ultra-rugged pH systems from IQ Scientific that measure without glass, dissolved gas analyzers/controllers, and information management products such as the Hach BOD Manager Software that automates BOD testing and trending — a plus for facilities that are forced to do more with fewer people.

Key products for analysis include a full range of reagents and standards, laboratory and field instrumentation, test kits, microbiological products, laboratory supplies, on-line instrumentation, samplers, flow products, and Hach Homeland Security Technologies systems.
