KROHNE, Inc., a global technology leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of accurate, reliable and cost effective level and flow measurement products for the process industries, introduced its OPTIMASS 1300 Straight Tube Coriolis Mass Meter, now being produced in KROHNE's North America manufacturing facilities, vs. its UK location, allowing for more cost effective use with a faster delivery, adding to the benefits of its technology. Approved for hazardous area, FM Class 1, Div.1., KROHNE has successfully transferred the straight tube technology used in the OPTIMASS 7000 to the OPTIMASS 1000 sensor in a dual tube configuration , thus setting a new price-performance standard in the Coriolis mass flowmeter class. Along with the new MFC 300 converter, the OPTIMASS 1300 combines superior reliability with the ability to flexibly adapt to varying applications.

The OPTIMASS 1300 reliably records mass flow, density, temperature and concentration of both liquids and gases. In addition, the OPTIMASS 1000 sensor is the only mass flowmeter in its class to offer secondary containment as a standard feature. The dual straight tube sensor is constructed of stainless steel, easily drains and features an optimized flow splitter for minimal pressure loss. Like the OPTIMASS 7000, the OPTIMASS 1000 is not affected by installation constraints and is unaffected by external influences. Common process connections, as well as hygienic connections are available.

The new OPTIMASS 1000 meter broadens the KROHNE Coriolis flowmeter product family which is now comprised of single straight tube, dual straight tube, high temperature and low flow sensor models.

As part of the OPTI series of KROHNE products, the new MFC 300 converter features a wide choice of I/O options and sets new standards in the area of meter and process diagnosis.
