ITT Analytics' WTW FDO® 925 Probe For Field Dissolved Oxygen Testing Offers Unmatched Accuracy And Reliable Results Under Extreme Conditions

Chicago, IL - ITT Corporation announced that WTW GmbH, a global supplier of electrochemical measurement equipment and part of the newly formed ITT Analytics, has launched the new intelligent optical field dissolved oxygen (DO) probe FDO® 925. The probe is ideal for use in the lab or in the field for virtually any application, including validation of online wastewater measurements, testing dissolved oxygen at effluent points, or surface water testing in rivers, lakes and streams.
With its fast response (T99 < 60 s) and air bubble repellent beveled membrane, the new digital DO probe provides high performance, reliability and unmatched accuracy. With a diameter of only .602 inches (15.3 mm) the FDO® 925 fits in all Winkler flasks and together with the RZ 300 stirrer accessory, it can be used for BOD measurement according ASTM.
The interchangeable membrane head contains a chip with factory calibration data. The soft green-light technology preserves the optical membrane, resulting in high precision and long life. A long cable version is also available, which can be submersed down to 82 feet (25 m) for testing surface water such as rivers, lakes and streams.
